Il progetto artistico “exTEMPORARY conTEMPORARY” (memories arts current) prende forma grazie al collettivo “ THIS IS NOT TORINO” e all’Associazione Culturale “OSSIMORO”.
THIS IS NOT TORINO, lavora per un’idea di arte non tradizionale e condivisa.
L’idea, è quella di dare alla città una ventata di aria nuova, attraverso l’arte Emergente ed eventi di taglio nuovo ed innovativo.
L’ associazione culturale OSSIMORO nasce con lo scopo di inserire in un unico spazio espositivo forme artistiche di qualsiasi tipo, fortemente diverse tra loro. OSSIMORO unisce idee, immagini, musica o pensieri che non potrebbero stare insieme, in una stessa realtà, ma le esalta per comprendere meglio alcuni concetti particolarmente profondi dell’arte contemporanea in ogni ambito.

The artistic project "exTEMPORARY conTEMPORARY" (memories arts current) takes shape thanks to the collective "THIS IS NOT TORINO" e to the "OSSIMORO" Cultural Association.
THIS IS NOT TORINO, works for an idea of non-traditional and shared art. The idea is to give the city a breath of fresh air, through art Emerging and cutting events new and innovative.
The cultural association OSSIMORO is born with the purpose of inserting in a single space exhibition art forms of any kind, strongly different from each other. OXYMORON combines ideas, images, music or thoughts that could not be together in one same reality, but exalts them to better understand some particularly concepts of contemporary art in every area.

E’ un progetto artistico in cui:
Temporary = Temporaneo è il fulcro dell’idea
Con il prefisso “Ex” diventa Creazione Opere Artistiche in tempo Reale, ma Ex si riferisce anche al passato a ciò che è stato, mentre il prefisso “Con” indica l’ Arte del momento quella attuale, sempre in movimento, ancorata al presente.

Temporary = Temporary is the fulcrum of the idea
With the prefix "Ex" it becomes Creation of Artistic Works in real time, but Ex also refers to the past to what it was, while the prefix "Con" indicates the art of the moment the current one, always in motion, anchored to the present.

Il Progetto:
Costruendo opportunità per gli artisti contemporanei in ogni ambito, creiamo eventi in luoghi istituzionali o storici a volte dimenticati ma che mantengono il fascino del ricordo.
Mostre collettive o personali curate, su tematiche sempre attuali e la possibilità di realizzare opere site specific, di fare live performance in ogni ambito artistico e creativo.
Il nostro obiettivo è moltiplicare le occasioni di incontro fra artisti, enti e istituzioni ma anche la possibilità di avvicinare appassionati o semplici curiosi al mondo dell’arte, concentrandoci anche su tematiche sociali con convegni, conferenze divulgative, workshop.
MEMORIE CONTEMPORANEE (memories arts current)
L’educazione al patrimonio artistico del passato si associa da sempre all’insegnamento e alla trasmissione del sapere.
Il rapporto complesso fra l’arte contemporanea e l'arte classica, fatto di attrazione e repulsione, mitizzazione e ironia, ispirazione più o meno esplicita o presa di distanza radicale, porta ad
indagare i modi e le molteplici forme dell’influsso esercitato dall’antico sull’opera moderna.
Nella sua azione creativa l’artista assolve anche una funzione capace di recuperare - attualizzandoli, sviluppandoli e trasformandoli - gli insegnamenti del passato quale fonte di ispirazione per il presente: “MEMORIE CONTEMPORANEE”.
Artisti emergenti e non solo di diversa provenienza, esperienza, visione etica ed estetica, chiamati a dare corpo alla propria percezione artistica.
The Project:
Building opportunities for contemporary artists in every field, we create events in institutional or historical places that are sometimes forgotten but keep the charm of memories. Curated collective or personal exhibitions, on timeless topics and the possibility of creating site-specific works, of performing live in every artistic and creative area.
Our goal is to multiply the opportunities for encounters between artists, institutions and institutions, but also the possibility of approaching enthusiasts or simple onlookers to the world of art, also focusing on social issues with conferences, information conferences and workshops.
CONTEMPORARY MEMORIES (memories arts current)
Education to the artistic heritage of the past has always been associated with the teaching and transmission of knowledge.
The complex relationship between contemporary art and classical art, made of attraction and repulsion, mythization and irony, more or less explicit inspiration or radical distancing, leads to to investigate the ways and the multiple forms of the influence exerted by the ancient on the modern work. In his creative action the artist also performs a function capable of recovering - by updating them, developing them and transforming them - the teachings of the past as a source of inspiration for the present: "CONTEMPORARY MEMORIES".
Emerging artists and not only of different origin, experience, ethical and aesthetic vision, called to give shape to their artistic perception.
